Campbell isn’t marooned on an island nor is he isolated from civilization. This means he still showers, shaves, and cleans himself on a daily basis just like other people. His airplane home basically has everything he needs.

Campbell said living in a plane has a huge benefit since an aircraft is made out of strong metal while a regular home is more commonly made of materials like wood. Talking to Business Insider, he explained that “wood is, in my view, a terrible building material. It biodegrades – it’s termite chow and microbe chow. Or it’s firewood; depends upon which happens first.”
