Meet Tracy

Tracy is a single mother of five. Twelve years before, Tracy broke up with her ex-boyfriend, a 44-year old male. She never expected that they would ever reunite again. For years he wrote her letters from prison, describing how he had changed.

Tracy did not realize that their reunion was closer than she thought.

Pleasant Day

Tracy was not just a single mother of five children. On top of handling this big family, she also works hard as a nurse. With long shifts, and being constantly on call, Saturday was finally a free day for Tracy to spend with her kids

She couldn’t wait for this break and it was surely overdue.

Paying Attention To Her Surroundings

After spending the day with her children, ages 3-20, Tracy returned. Everything seemed completely normal. When afternoon turned to night, Tracy noticed a shift.

As she sat with her laptop she could not help her gut feeling that said something was not right.

It was a normal night in her home when she noticed strange noises coming from the ceiling. She started to get nervous so she sent her boys upstairs to check it out.

The Search

Tracy is a mother of five boys. These boys would do anything for their mom. They decided to go upstairs and check out the source of the noise.

The boys tried to remain calm but they admitted later that they were very scared to see what they would find.

Nothing To Fear

Tracy waited anxiously for her boys to come back down. As she heard them descending the staircase she waited eagerly. Despite her fears, the boys found nothing.

In Her Head

Tracy decided that she must have been imagining it. She headed off to sleep reassured that it was all going on in her head.

Well, that’s what she thought. Soon enough she would get to the truth, and she would wish she hadn’t.

Middle Of The Night

As soon as the clock turned 2:30, Tracy’s eyes widened. At that point, she was certain that she was not imagining it. Something was upstairs and she needed to find out what it was.

Wandering Thoughts

Was it an animal? Was it a ghost? Boy was she far off. When her they discovered what it was, she wished they hadn’t. Tracy was about to lose it.

Somethings Going On

Tracy was in her bedroom when she heard a startling thump coming from the ceiling and a terrible odor. Not only that, but things were coming loose. Suddenly, the nails all popped out of the ceiling. Tracy had it at that point and needed to know what the fuss was about.

Mama Cub

Tracy couldn’t imagine what was upstairs. She started to worry. She couldn’t decide if she wanted to know the answer. However, she knew that she could not just leave whatever it was upstairs. She had children to protect.

Phoning For Help

Tracy commended herself for being an excellent mother. She was adored by her children and even the children of her siblings. She was particularly close to one of her nephews and she knew he would be willing to help.

To The Rescue

Around 2:30 am Tracy called her nephew with panic in her voice. She said she was sure “there was some poltergeist stuff going on.” Her nephew lived nearby and told her he would be there in a few minutes to check it out.

Continuing The Search

He entered the home and ran upstairs. He had spoken to his cousins earlier that day who told them what happened. He was sure that he would not find anything either.

Regardless, he wanted to make his aunt feel comfortable so he went ahead with his search.

His Discovery

He entered the attic and walked toward the end. He noticed a bunch of heating and cooling ducts, boxes, photo albums, toys, cassettes and a “timeline” of memories.

He found all these items next to a man sleeping inside a heating unit.

Jaw-Dropping

He was unsure of what he would find but he never expected it to be this. As he got to the attic they saw a man lying there under old coats and jackets. As soon as he made contact, the man ran out of the house as fast as he could.

At this point, the young boy was in a full-blown panic. But who was this man?

Cautious Behavior

Her nephew examined the items in awe of what he was seeing. He tried to be as quiet as he could not to wake the sleeping man.

He knew Tracy was scared. He wasn’t quite sure how to deliver the news. But then something happened and he didn’t have to.

His Escape

Suddenly, the man opened his eyes to see Tracy’s nephew standing over him. He got up as fast he could and ran out of the attic. He was too fast for the young boy to get ahold of him.

Tracy’s nephew recalls his body feeling paralyzed at that moment.

Panic Levels High

Tracy saw the man run out of her house and she could not believe what she seeing. She imagined that her nephew would find an animal of some sort and that scared her enough. But a man? This was too much for Tracy to handle.

Reunion

Tracy identified the man as soon as she made eye contact. Although it had been 12 years since she saw him last, she recognized him immediately. Even though her nephew wasn’t sure who he was, Tracy did not have a doubt in her mind.

Bad Breakup

12 years before, Tracy hired this man to work around the house. Shortly after they began a romantic relationship. However, the man had a criminal background. Tracy wasn’t thrilled about this and called it off.

He did not take it too well.

The Source Of The Sound

At that point, it was clear to her that the noise in the attic was her ex-boyfriend. She had no idea how long he had been there. She called the cops immediately.

The police examined the attic and then told Tracy some unsettling news.

It Gets Worse

The police arrived in minutes. They headed up to the attic and examined the evidence. As they looked closer they noticed something that truly startled them.

The Breakdown

It was bad enough that this man was hiding in her attic. Tracy thought that this was the worst it would get. But then, the police discovered something even more strange

Her ex-boyfriend was watching her from the air vent.

Her Reaction

Tracy did not handle this well. “It’s got me flabbergasted,” she said. “How can you look at someone through an air vent?” The whole situation made her overwhelmed and confused.

The Investigation

They continued searching the evidence and gathered that the man was hiding up there for several weeks. They concluded this based on the number of plastic cups filled with his excrement around the attic floor. This was the source of the terrible odor Tracy smelt before.

On The Loose

While Tracy is working closely with the Police, they still have not allocated this man. Tracy spends 12 hours a day away from her home and is afraid he will come at any moment.
