Celine and Rene were married on December 17, 1994, at Montreal’s Notre-Dame Basilica. Their ceremony was broadcasted on Canadian TV! At this point, they were basically like a royal couple in Canada and so many of her fans wanted to see her wedding.

Celine wore a beautiful wedding dress designed by Mirella and Steve Gentile. It took over 1,000 hours to make it! Part of the work is due to the 20-foot long train. The outfit included a 20-pound tiara that Celine wore beautifully. The entire world was talking about her outfit in the days following the ceremony.
