David Gulpilil
Surely, you recall that David Gulpilil played Neville Bell in Crocodile Dundee. This Australian actor and traditional dancer is still most well-known for that famous role. He continued to land special Aborigine parts from this. He even won the Member of the Order of Australia award in 1978 because of his devotion to the arts and portraying his Aboriginal people. Unfortunately, not everything has been perfect in his life since the film.

From this role, his career really blew up. He starred in tons of films from The Proposition to Charlie’s Country. Even though he’s a hugely talented actor, many were troubled to hear about his run-ins with the law. Sadly, he was even arrested for assaulting his wife. This was back in 2011 but he got released after a year and continued acting.
