Cheers actor Ted Danson got married for the second time to producer Cassandra Coates in 1977. Coates had a stroke as she was giving birth to their child in 1979. Danson then spent a lot of time caring for his wife and assisting her as she recovered. They also had an adopted daughter, Alexis. Unfortunately, they got a divorce in 1993 when it was revealed that he was covertly seeing Whoopi Goldberg. It was one of the most expensive divorces in Hollywood at the time!
