Dolly Parton left Sevier County High School in 1964. After her graduation, she decided to pack her things and move to Nashville. The city was then considered the center of country music. We all know that she has a fantastic voice, though she still had a difficult time in the beginning. During the start of her career, she wasn’t even singing as she was busy writing songs for other performers with her uncle, Bill Owns. The two worked together to write many songs, two of which landed in the top 10 charts.
