Thanks to the performances of Marlon and Shawn Wayans, who not only had to transform into girls – but white blond girls (! ), White Chicks became a classic action-comedy. Not only did they have to put on a lot of makeup and wigs, but they also had to get plaster casts for their faces to make them look more “girlish.” To complete the look, they had to wear blue contact lenses. For each actor, the arduous transformation process lasted seven hours each day. Greg Cannom, a special effects artist, worked on the transformations.

When we look at Jake Gyllenhaal’s face, we can’t believe he played tough boxer Billy Hope in the film Southpaw. Weight gain and muscle gain training became a daily activity for the actor, who worked out for six months at a rate of six hours per day to get into character. The daily routine included weightlifting, 2000 sit-ups per day, boxing, running eight miles, and tossing a 350-pound tire. It was successful. With trainer Terry Claybon’s help, Gyllenhaal went from 147 pounds to a buff 175 pounds in just over six months.
