The Amish Keep To Themselves
One of Jonna’s main observations about Amish culture is that ‘the Amish are so good at keeping outsiders out’ and tend to keep themselves to their themselves. This is perhaps part of their attempt to preserve their community from the outside world. Luckily for Jonna, this didn’t quite go to plan when Daniel married an ‘outsider’. However, since most of us only know about the Amish from movies like King Pin, the fact that their able to preserve their community makes it more mysterious and even more fascinating for us.
