For two episodes of the show, Brenda Strong plays a candy bar company heiress Sue Ellen “the braless wonder.” Elaine hates the fact that she does not put on a bra. It turns out that their animosity goes all the way back to their school days. In “The Caddy,” the conflict starts when Elaine gives her a bra as a gift. However, Sue Ellen decides to simply use it as a top! When Kramer sees her wearing this, he ends up crashing Costanza’s car. In “The Betrayal,” the two ladies try to reconcile after Sue Ellen sends Elaine an invitation to her wedding.

Viewers meet Valerie in an episode called The Millennium. Lauren Graham of Gilmore Girls fame is the girlfriend of the week this time around. Jerry obsesses about the fact that he is only the 7th person on her speed dial list. This is not good enough for him, but he ends up going down to the 9th spot He works hard to get the top spot until her stepmother gets upset for getting edged out and takes action.
