We can’t believe that silent black and white films are now something of the past! They used to be considered the norm, but are now replaced by color TV and something we like to call Netflix. The Golden Age of Hollywood was a fabulous period in history when some of the best performers and artists were around. Here is something interesting you might not have known: Betty White actually started out doing radio gigs during the ‘40s! The story goes that movie executives did not find her photogenic enough to make films. It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? Regardless of what may have happened in the past, she presently holds the record for the longest running career of any female entertainer. She doesn’t seem to be interested in retiring soon either. Many people have expressed their concern about White’s health, though the legend appears to be more focused entertaining her legions of followers!
