Probably not as bad as those tray tables, but pillows and blankets come in close second as the dirtiest parts of planes. Oh and even the headphones are not always fresh and clean. Even though pillows, blankets and headphones come in plastic wrap, it’s usually the case that they’ve been repackaged. Usually, they aren’t even washed. If you luck out on a morning flight, you have a higher chance of receiving fresh blankets in coach. Usually, they’re just stuffed back into bins and folded in between flights before being repackaged for the new passengers.

Over the years, people have debated over the best way for pets to be taken on flights. Of course, flying will be stressful for both owners and their pets regardless. However, an aircraft fueler did post some comforting words on Reddit. He explained that under most circumstances, the airline tries handling pet travel in the best way possible, but things like noise on the ramp simply cannot be avoided.
