Lee Grant
1951 is when Lee Grant made her film debut in Detective Story, for which she earned an Oscar and the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival. However the following year she was blacklisted for 10 years in acting jobs as she refused to testify against her husband in the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) hearings. 1962 is when she made her return, earning seven Emmy nominations between 1966 and 1993. Grant made a return to the stage in 2013.

60 years, that’s how long Sally Kellerman’s career spans and what a career its been. Kellerman earned an Oscar nomination for her role as Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan in the film M*A*S*H. In fact, she appeared in many of Robert Altman’s films, however he wasn’t the only director Kellerman worked with. In 2013, she released her memoir detailing her life in the entertainment world.
