Shelley Duvall got started in Robert Altman films, which helped her get noticed by Hollywood producers. This led her to receive roles in films like McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Brewster McCloud, Nashville, 3 Women, and Thieves Like Us, but it was her roles in Popeye and The Shining that made her a household name. She retired from acting in the early 2000’s but continues to work as a producer for children’s shows. In 2016, USA Today and Dr. Phil called her mentally ill, with the scandal capturing headlines.

Cloris Leachman

Cloris Leachman was already well known by the 70’s, but it wasn’t until this decade that her career really took off, thanks to her Oscar win for her role in The Last Picture show. She would go on to play Phyllis on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, which also won her numerous awards. With over 300 credits to her name, at the age of 90, Leachman is one of the most prolific, hardworking women in Hollywood!
