Certainly, similar to a castle, Campbell bolstered up his massive passenger Boeing 727 airliner with concrete pillars and installed a driveway for his aircraft home just outside Hillsboro, Oregon. If people were to visit the area, they’d instantly notice the amount of work that has been done on the airliner and that it wasn’t by miracle the aircraft somehow landed there.

Campbell did his best to use all the equipment that was already on the plane but he left most of the controls and instruments in the cockpit. Nevertheless, he also updated things by modifying and restoring the aircraft’s interior to make sure it is fit for daily living.
