While Alicia had shot to fame playing the iconic Valley girl in Clueless, she soon began to have mixed feelings about Hollywood. In a recent interview with Vanity fair, Silverstone spoke candidly about her experiences with fame. She said “When I was having my crazy moments post-Clueless, I was being called ‘Fat Girl…My response was, Hell no. I had no interest in being famous or maintaining any kind of fame.” It was around this time that she consciously decided to shift her attention on her other passions, most notably the environment and animals.
