Things weren’t going as smooth for Stefani and Rossdale though, but they also released a statement on People magazine in August of 2015. In which they said, “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.”

A year after what happened, Stefani was a bit more open in an interview with Cosmopolitan. The reporter asked if other people knew what happened between her and Rossdale. She then replied, “Nobody except for my parents, the people involved and whoever they told. Nobody would believe it if I could say what happened. I went through months and months of torture.”
