DeGeneres was surprised by Shelton’s revelation of him not being allowed to keep the clock. The presenter then said “We haven’t given it to you? Well, that’s not right. We can’t – why do we need it?” It was at this point that you could see what Shelton felt about the little joke that had begun during one of Stefani’s features on the show.
