In 2003, the U2 frontman Bono traveled to Italy to sing at a charity concert. When the plane landed and he was in time for the gig, everything was going to plan. That was until he suddenly realized that he’d forgotten his prized possession, his lucky black trilby hat. So while most stars would have just done charity gig without it, not Bono. He needed that hat so much that he ended up paying a whopping 1,200 for the hat to be flown to him, on a first class seat on British Airways. We only wonder what the passenger on that plane who sat next to the hat must have thought!
