Dolly Parton is also a pretty big risk-taker. During one Halloween, she decided to enter a transgender lookalike contest happening in Santa Monica Boulevard. We’re still not sure how she could have lost her own lookalike competition, though that was what happened. We bet the audience got a kick out of the whole thing!

Like what we mentioned earlier, Dolly grew up in a low-income household with 11 other children. Back then, the house they lived in did not have a good electrical and plumbing system. When she finally made it big, she gave Bobby, her brother, some money so that they could improve the house. She wanted it to look exactly the same, though she wanted to install better electricity and plumbing to make it more livable.
