Huge Fan
In 1998, Drew Barrymore talked about Dolly Parton while promoting her new movie Home Fries. In the drama film, the actress played a character who was a huge fan of Dolly Parton. She even told the musician that some of her songs would be included in the romance film. However, the movie did not actually focus on it as much as Barrymore made it out to be. There were indeed some references to Dolly in the form of posters and pictures, though that was the extent of it.

Another admirable thing about Dolly is her excellent sense of humor. The songstress simply knows how to make people laugh. She once said, “I’m not offended by all the dumb blonde jokes because I know I’m not dumb…and I also know that I’m not blonde.” What a champ! She also came up with this hilarious one-liner: “I was the first woman to burn my bra – it took the fire department four days to put it out.”
