As the canal was further drained, numerous objects continued to be found in this filthy water. An occurrence that happens only every 10-15 years, the river will be drained and cleaned. During this time, the public will dispose of numerous questionable, and quite frankly strange items into the bank. Here we can even see a retro boombox sunken in this muddy area. As drainage employees continued their jobs, eagle-eyed watching residents peered across, watching every single move. Some have contemplated that Parisians may have been pondering for long-lost items in the canal. Something sentimental, a source of enjoyment? We are quite sure seeing something such as this would be enjoyable for any.
