Given the greatness of the task at hand, naturally a significant proportion of people would wish to see the project in its completion. Large crowds, reigning in the thousands, work to ensure that everything is completed on time and correctly. Safety is a priority for the staff nonetheless. The machinery used remains true for the majority of the project, and several tasks cannot be done by oneself.

A dangerous part of the task, any disaster can occur at any given moment. From here, it is the first time the canal has been drained since 2001. The instance of this task can cause severe excitement for any onlooker, since it only occurs every 10-15 years. Such a project of this magnitude requires many different arrangements. It is difficult and sometimes problematic for the city municipality to purchase all necessary machinery and equipment.
