Maura Judkis, an editor for The Washington Post, accredits Drake for popularizing the phrase “YOLO” or You Only Live Once. Drake uses YOLO multiple times in his single, “The Motto.” For example, in the song, one line is, “You only live once: that’s the motto, nigga, YOLO.”
