Peggy Josephin Varnadow also known as Peggy Dow was a retired actress and philanthropist. She briefly modeled and worked for the radio before pursuing a career in the movie industry. Peggy signed a contract but quitted three years later after marrying an oil driller named Walter Helmerich III, who was the president of the family business. They remained together for 60 years until his death last 2012.

Nancy Olson, aged 91, became known for her role in the 1950 movie Sunset Boulevard. This brought her an Academy Award nomination as the Best Supporting Actress. She also appeared in Airport 1975, Son of Flubber, and The Absent-Minded Professor. She retired early even though she could have made a successful career in acting. However, she did have several returns. In 2014, she was in Dumbbells and appeared in an episode of Big love four years before. She was a Democrat and donated money multiple times to the party.
