As an actress, Meryl Streep has racked up a wildly impressive 21 Academy Award nominations and won three. Streep has been happily married behind the scenes to sculptor Don Gummer since 1978. Streep lost her boyfriend John Cazale to lung cancer the same year, and, fortunately, Gummer had to turn to her as a friend for support. Almost 41 years later, and as when they met back in the ’70, the couple is still supportive of each other. Their family has grown to four, and their children are almost as successful as their mother and father.

They might have gotten married in 1988 back, but Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are keeping up with the chivalry of modern-day social media. In 2015, they celebrated their 27th anniversary, and Bacon took to Instagram to share a sweet message to his wife, merely saying “celebrating 9,855 days.” The couple was the notorious Bernard Madoff Ponzi system’s victims, which saw them lose a portion of their retirement investment. Bacon, 60, however, is not about to stop bringing the bacon home by acting, and he is set to appear in the psychological horror, You Should Have Left, in 2019.
