He Was Confused
Thomas was lost and confused by the new habits of Kyle and some unusual conduct he displayed. He had tried medical aids, and it seemed that nothing was a problem. He thought maybe there was an animal in the tree that Kyle had smelled, but he could quickly rule that option out with almost no leaves in the branches anymore. While Thomas was puzzled, he was also curious to determine what this trained dog could be troubled by.

There was no other option left for Thomas; he did not know what to do next. He decided to call an old partner of Kyle’s, John. Perhaps he had seen Kyle’s behavior before and would know what to do to get Kyle moving again, seeing as they had worked together for so many years. Hopefully, he made the call. If anyone was able to unravel the behavior of Kyle, it was John.
