He’s Not The Best Singer…
When Pierce sang in the musical and romantic comedy, Mama Mia! critics were quick to remark about his sub-par singing skills. The media was pretty harsh. For example, New York Magazine compared his singing voice to a “donkey braying.” Another review stated he sounded like he was “choking out the lyrics as if he’s being subjected to a prostate exam….” He didn’t let the reviews stop him, and he sang again in Mama Mia! Here We Go Again. We love how fearless he is!
