Less Singing, More Mama Mia!
Pierce made his second appearance in the Mama Mia movies reprising his character of Sam, the husband of Meryl Streep’s Donna. As we mentioned, Pierce maybe doesn’t have the best voice and faced harsh criticism of his voice after the first film made its debut. When initially asked to be in Mama Mia! Here We Go Again, Pierce refused. He eventually agreed after producers caved and said he could provide fewer vocals. In an interview with Britain’s Radio Times, he stated he is “relieved — very relieved” that his musical obligations to the new film are limited.

What Else Is He Working On?
Pierce has worked a few times with director Martin Campbell. Actually, for the third time, the two are planning to collaborate on a film adaptation of the Ernest Hemingway novel, “Across the River and Into The Trees.” Brosnan is set to play the protagonist named Colonel Cantwell.
