It sure feels like there is nothing new about men misunderstanding signals from women. Laura hits up Jerry to ask if she can stay with him when she goes to New York. He assumes that she has a personal agenda but finds out that she is just being friendly! As a matter of fact, she reveals that she is engaged. How awkward is that? Pamela Brull brought Laura to life in the first season of the show. In case you have forgotten, this was the plot of the pilot episode! After that, she landed small parts in TV shows and movies. However, it looks like she has since retired. Her last acting credit dates back to 1997.

Fans of the show know just how easy it is for Jerry to lose interest in women on the show. He does it even for the smallest thing! Just look at how things end between him and Donna. He gets tired of her when she likes an ad that he hates in “The Phone Message.”. After her short stint on the show, Gretchen German went on to play bit roles in Will & Grace and Criminal Minds. What is she doing now? Well, she is working on Bad Therapist, which is slated for release in 2021.
