Mackenzie Phillips – Now

In 1992, Phillips checked into rehab where she stayed for nine months. Seven years later, she starred alongside Cara DeLizia on the Disney Channel show So Weird, where Phillips played the fictional rock star Molly Phillips. In addition, she had guest appearances on Without a Trace, ER, Cold Case, and 7th Heaven. After she managed to turn her life around, she came up with the idea of helping others in need by becoming a rehab counselor in West Hollywood’s Breathe Life Healing Center in California.

Kristy McNichol – Then

McNichol started her career doing commercials and making guest appearances on series like Starsky & Hutch, The Love Boat, The Bionic Woman, and Love American Style. Her first regular series was the short-lived drama Apple’s Way, where she played Patricia Apple. In 1976, her performance in the series Family earned her two Emmys for Best Supporting Actress in a Dramatic Series. McNichol soon ventured into music and recorded the album “Kristy & Jimmy McNichol,” with her biggest hit being “He’s So Fine” which climbed to the no. 70 spot.
