Edouard Beaupré
Canadian Edouard Beaupré was born in 1881. He was the eldest of 20 children. He enjoyed a normal height during the beginning of his life, but by the time he was 9 years old he reached 6 feet tall. He worked as a star in Barnum and Bailey and allegedly lifted horses that weighed as much as 900 pounds. He died in 1904 and it is believed his top height was 8’3.
Ella Ewing
Ella Ewing was known as the “Missouri Giant.” She was born in Missouri in 1872 and her top height was 8’4. She worked as a “circus freak” until she died of tuberculosis in 1913.
