Richard Metcalfe – Rugby
Richard Metcalfe was born in Leeds, England. He is still considered to be the tallest rugby player in the union, despite the fact that he needed to retire back in 2003. Standing at 7 feet (2.13 m), Metcalfe at the line-out’s front was definitely quite intimidating.
Ted van der Parre – Strongman
We bet you didn’t know we would include on this list the tallest ever Strongest Man in the World. With the height of 7 feet (2.13 m), Parre’s BMI of 35 is even the lowest in WSM. Now that’s impressive. He was the winner of the Netherlands’ Strongest Man competition in 1991, in 1992, and in 1994. Too bad he didn’t get the title in 1993 as well.
