Public Couple
This event was the first event they appeared publicly as a couple. They may have been out publicly, but it took months until Markle would be seen at any royal events. Reaching August, Prince Harry and Meghan are reaching their past the one year mark. With Meghan’s 36th birthday commencing and the anniversary of their first trip which took place in Africa, they embarked on another romantic trip. They journeyed to Africa once again. Meghan and Harry share common interests of philanthropy and charity which is believed to be what bonded them initially. Harry has a strong connection to Africa, his charity Sentebale is lo0cated there. Sentebele means “forget me not” in SeSotho, honoring his mother, Princess Diana. The Prince brought Meghan on some official royal events for the first time in 2017.

Opening Celebrations
They attended the opening celebrations of the Invictus Games hand-in-hand. Prince Harry, in fact, founded the games in Britain servicemen and women who have been injured, wounded or disabled. The games were coincidently hed in Toronto in 2017, the place of Markle’s production efforts. The pair were seen throughout the games, pictured being affectionate – hand-holding and expressing bits of PDA. Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, attended some of the games too. Little did the world know they would be receiving an exciting surprise soon enough… Meghan appeared as the feature of Vanity Fair in the magazine’s 2017 edition.
