The Decision

Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible.” The queen held a summit on January 13, 2020, to discuss just how the family were to proceed with Meghan and Harry’s move. The family needed to discuss the proceedings and thus, the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince Harry were all in attendance. After the summit, Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen stands by her grandson’s decision and supports the Sussexes in their choice.
