The Stock Market

It used to be a good idea to invest in the stock market, but things have changed a lot. A survey conducted by Barron’s said stocks are no longer popular when it comes to investments. Just 13% of the respondents said they would like to invest in stocks. Others said they would prefer cash, gold, and real estate. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, although we are willing to bet that they are more wary of the stock market after seeing it crash not that long ago.

Bulk Groceries

While their parents’ home used to be fully stocked with groceries, you will not be able to say the same thing for millennials and their pantries. Not a lot of people feel the need to bulk buy groceries at membership stores like Costco. They are only cooking and shopping for themselves, so there is no need to buy groceries to last two weeks when they would not even be used up. Millennials seem to prefer things they truly need, so they are not fond of the idea of shelling out money for food that might go bad.
