Honeymoons
Now this one is pretty bizarre. We already know that weddings do not happen as often as they used to, but newlyweds do not go on honeymoon either. We are sure this spells bad news for island resorts. “Unimoons”, where the individual travels by themselves, are the trendy thing to do now. One groom said they chose to do this since “workaholism and being on the work-and-spend treadmill [because] you can’t even coordinate one of the most important times of your life together.”

Cash
Chip readers are now common, so it is generally easier to pay with credit and debit cards instead. Cold hard cash is no longer as convenient as it used to be. PBS and NPR conducted a poll about this matter, and you would not believe the results of the survey. Apparently, 63% of people below the age of 30 said they prefer to use plastic instead. PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are clearly making things easier for everyone when it comes to payment.
