Like Mowgli in the film The Jungle Book, Tippi spent her early years in minimal clothing. Many times, she is photographed wearing only a loincloth or light fabric. This was done so that Tippi could keep cool in the hot climate in Africa. Transitioning to clothing like a t-shirt and jeans must have been hard for her.

Better If Not On Camera
When Tippi was 12, she went back to Africa to film several documentaries for the Discovery Channel. Although her mom says the experience was wonderful, Tippi disagreed. “It was great to see the elephants and the lions, but it would have been better if it hadn’t always been in front of the camera. It was hard work, it was difficult, it was hot and I was not happy all the time. I was worn out at the end of it,” Tippi told The Telegraph.
