These People Did Not Receive What They Ordered Online
When buying anything online, it’s somewhat of a gamble when you think about it. You might see a photo of what you’re supposedly buying, but you can never be sure that’s what you’re going to get at the end of the day. Naturally, this leads to many hilarious stories of people receiving the most ridiculous items. Let’s take a look at some of the best online shopping fails.
Mini Converse
We all know how risky it can be ordering anything online. So it’s not surprising that this applies to any and all items – not just clothing. Here we see a case where an enthusiastic grandmother ordered her beloved grandson a Converse backpack for school. Well, it’s safe to say she didn’t get what she thought she would. In theory, it might be the same item, but in reality, it’s much smaller than it was meant to be and how it appeared online.

Made In…
We’ve all ventured onto websites we know aren’t trustworthy. We all need to find things out for ourselves and make our own mistakes, right? It’s only natural. Well, this woman did just that. She’d hoped she would receive that stunning maternity dress in the photo – plus a second dress she had ordered – but instead, all she got was the atrocity in the second photo. We can practically feel her disappointment through the screen.

Size Matters
When people say size matters, this is exactly what they mean. Ordering online is in itself a gamble of sorts, but one thing you always need to keep an eye out for is the sizing of the item in question. This is especially true when it comes to furniture and the like. A weirdly-sized poster can be dealt with, but a bench? That’s a whole other story. A too-small bench is absolutely useless. Other than using it for a dollhouse, you won’t have any use for such a thing.

Say No To The Dress
Here we have another case of “this looks absolutely nothing like what has been ordered”. It’s a disaster, to put it lightly. Just take a moment to think about what kind of disappointment this woman went through when the dress on the right arrived at her house. It’s painful. Anyway, the lesson to learn here is don’t order clothing from sites you aren’t familiar with – it will never go well. You just need to accept the fact that you won’t find a dress like the one on the left for $15.

Barbie’s Face Mask
There isn’t much to say about this terrible purchase. In all honesty, we have many questions for the one selling this face mask. Who’s face would be so small? Is this targeted to specific people? Maybe children? In any case, this mask wouldn’t fit a person over the age of six months, so we truly don’t understand why this was made in the first place. Everyone knows how babies have the greatest skin.

DIY Project
It must be nice to be a crafty person. Just making things for yourself for the sheer joy of creating. Well, the person selling this “blanket” either assumed everyone knows how to make the one in the photo or is set to watch the world burn. Whichever it is, the person who received their order was less than happy, that’s for sure. Who would be happy ordering a blanket and getting nothing but giant yarn in the mail?

Wrong Dimensions
Again, we have an innocent mistake made in the blink of an eye unknowingly by an online shopper. This person thought they were getting a great deal on a chair on Amazon. But, all they got instead was a chair fit for a doll. After waiting excitedly for their package to arrive, they got this… Once again, we can’t imagine how devastating it would be to come to the realization that this is what you ordered. Always check the size, folks.

Bad Fit
This gentleman right here purchased what he thought was a workout tank top. However, what he got in the mail was a dress. We do have to admit that the dress looks great on him – he even admitted so online. All the same, he now has to buy another “tank top” that he’ll actually wear to his gym sessions. We’re sure he’s going to make good use of this dress with time. Next time, Amazon should be more specific with their sizing when it comes to menswear.

Opposite Day
We never thought we’d have this problem, yet here we are. Here we have a case of someone ordering an item that ended up being only slightly too large. Well, that’s the understatement of the century, that’s for sure. The unicorn fills up the whole room! If anything, it should be classified as a bouncy castle rather than a pool float. We wonder if this person tried using it in the pool or if it was too big to fit.

Touché
Here’s a tip this guy gave out: “Tip of the day – don’t buy your chainsaw from eBay”. Wise words, indeed. Although we have to admit that the seller was clearly quite clever with this tool. They sold a literal chainsaw. It might not be useful for anything, but it’s a hilarious joke. Now, any time this person has friends over, he can tell them he’s just getting his chainsaw for some work and then come out holding this. Everyone will appreciate it, trust us.
