Halice decided not to stray too far from home and graduated from Coastal Carolina University. She wasn’t the first member of her family to go there, Heather actually graduated from the same university several years before. Halice wanted to get her B.A. and go to graduate school for physical therapy.

Perhaps the three younger sisters had more at stake with their Christmas gift than they thought. They were all still local to North Myrtle beach after all, while their eldest sister moved away. She still lived in South Carolina but moved farther away with her husband. She was working for a real estate company doing marketing. It was important for her to return home this time to help her sisters make their dreams come true.
