There is simply no way that we can draw up a list like this one without referring to the last show that Bob Barker ever did in 2007. After more than five decades of hosting The Price Is Right, he decided to sign off by saying, “I thank you for inviting me into your homes for more than 50 years.” When he talked about his departure from the game show, he said, “This is a very emotional time for me. This is the first time since I was 21 years old that I didn’t have a show.” Even as viewers, it was hard to get used to the fact that he was no longer hosting the program.

An Understandable Reaction
We are sure that it is very exciting and unbelievable when someone wins the Showcase Showdown. However, the truth is that no one is more excited or in disbelief than the contestant themselves! Alene had been so shocked to hear that she won that she fainted! Well, let us just say that this is not a show for the “faint” of heart… get it? We are not going to make fun of her too much because we totally understand her reaction. We just wish that it did not have to happen on national TV.
