Not Her Responsibility
She later wrote, “I have long legs and I was wearing a sparkly dress, I didn’t look like most of the 13-15-year-old girls there, I looked like a woman. I am so tired of people who abuse their power to make women feel violated and ashamed.”

Nowhere To Go
Clare and her friends were very upset but Clare felt that she needed to get her revenge, and she did. She took to the internet to express her feelings. “We walked out of the prom, frustrated and angry and feeling very disrespected and violated,” Clare said.
She decided to write a lengthy blog post explaining exactly what had happened, from beginning to end. She spared no detail as she described how the administrator treated her and spoke to her.
