Smokey Bear
With the growing trouble in the U.S. of forest fires, an initiative was set up with the help of a mascot called “Smokey Bear” to help raise awareness. The U.S. Forest Service teamed up with the American Ad Council in pursuit of a voice-over artist who would be able to deliver a message that sounded safe, friendly, approachable and reliable. Guess who they asked to do it? You guessed it!
