Last Minute Cancelation
In February, Marchesa was actually supposed to debut their autumn/winter 2018 collection to NY Fashion Week. However, Marchesa pulled out of the runway show very last minute. Apparently, Georgina Chapman canceled because she “was too scared” due to the allegations against Harvey Weinstein and thus, “couldn’t go through” with the show, according to The New York Post.

Her Statement
In October, Chapman released a statement that she was leaving her husband of ten years. She told People magazine, “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions…I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”
