The hockey star has never failed to warm our hearts with that happy-go-lucky attitude of hers. However, many people are surprised to see the mean-streak hiding behind the joyful exterior of hockey’s greatest star. The nine-time IIHF World Women’s Championships winner has also helped the U.S. national team attain victory during the Olympics. She helped Team U.S. win a gold and two silvers!

Stephanie Rice
There was a point when Stephanie Rice was Australia’s greatest hope in the field of swimming. In 2008, she struck gold in the 200m, 400m and 200m relay race. She ultimately set World Records in these three contests! It is easy to see why she is a recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia. We are sad to hear that she no longer plays at the professional level after her retirement in 2014. Still, she is active in sports as a coach for a company called CoachUp.
