During a Happy Mum chat, Happy Baby podcast with Giovanna Fletcher, Kate said she wanted to offer her children the same sort of childhood experience. “I had an amazing Granny who devoted a lot of time to us– playing with us, doing arts and crafts, and going to the greenhouse to do gardening, and cooking with us.” She continued, “I try and incorporate a lot of the experiences that she gave us at the time into the experiences that I give my children now.”

Meghan was planning to be a very “hands-on, engaged mother” after Archie’s birth, according to a source. Meghan loves cooking, which is presumably why the couple chose to stay on a friend’s island home in Vancouver with a gourmet kitchen. Daniel Martin, Meghan’s close friend, told King Gayle, who also takes a 1-2 hour walk with Archie, “I’m sure the baby’s going to be raised clean and green. She loves to cook, eating organic whenever she can. I see her marking her food. Totally!”.
