Billie was still a student pilot and Peggy a mechanic, neither of the two had any savings or even considered saving for their future. Peggy had given Billie her high school class ring on their wedding day as she could not afford to buy him a traditional ring. Billie did not mind at all the only thing he cared about was being with Peggy, the rest he believed would come naturally. Although, it was a tough time filled with anxiety and uncertainty the couple had the utmost faith in their love.
