It would be accurate to say that the duo was a band for the people. Did you know that they owned a softball team? Not only that, the sports team raised funds for the Cancer Society of Middlesex County. Karen was the team’s pitcher and she was great at it!

The Carpenters Graceland
The Carpenters’ house was meant to be demolished in the year 2008. However, fans got to work and protested the tearing down of the building. They compared it to “Graceland”, Elvis Presley’s legendary mansion. Surprisingly, it worked and fans occasionally take a pilgrimage to the property.
