There is no denying that Paula Deen can cook, the queen of Southern cooking has been around long enough to teach us all a thing or two. In 2009, she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and she knew changes had to be made. As she wasn’t a fan of dieting, Deen began to walk on the treadmill every day. Later she changed her diet to something more manageable.

As the talking member of the magical duo Penn and Teller, Jillette once said that losing 100 pounds took magic. Granted, Penn did lose a lot of weight rather quickly however he feels way better now that he’s at a comfortable weight. He eats “whole plants,” has given up added oil, sugar, refined grains like bread and pasta, and all animal products.
