Mr. Wrestling II has actually been wrestle since 1956, however, it was not until the early 1970s that Johnny Walker’s character was created. While he competed as a wrestler with a mask, he was quite successful and was actually considered to be in the top 5 most popular wrestlers within the United States of America. It is also believed that amongst all his fans was former President Jimmy Carter. The ultimate champion passed away in 2020.

Phillip Jack Brooks who is known by his ring name CM Punk actually quit from the wrestling world with the intention of focusing more on his MMA career. He explicitly stated that he did not want to return to the wrestling industry. However, clearly actions speak louder than words when the 40 something-year-old did in fact return to WWE. But the biggest shock of all is that he is now wearing a mask!
