Growing up in the 90s, every wrestling fan knew and loved Chyna. She first rose to fame when she entered WWF and was so often called, the “Ninth Wonder of the World”. Chyna had an exceptional impact on pro wrestling for females. Now, that’s just her performance, we haven’t even started speaking about her amazing physique which was not only perfect but she had fantastic strength. Its no wonder shes been ranked one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

The Sheik
Next, we have one of the first establishes of the hardcore wrestling style. This successful Syrian wrestler laid many foundations in the wrestling industry. For an impressive 48 years, The Sheik was not only famous but extremely popular. He is also well known for the way in which he gripped his opponents in submission even after the referee counted down. The Sheik frequently used the ropes to get leverage, which is a ploy used by many wrestlers today.
